I am a transplant from Pittsburgh, PA. My wife and I met here in Greenville (she's also a transplant from the north). We loved this area, so we stayed. We both went to East Carolina University. She went as an undergraduate, and I went for my master's and my doctorate. I also work at ECU in University Communications. We have two young boys, and I coach our 6-year-old’s soccer and baseball teams. I played baseball in college, but I’m now an avid triathlete. Between running and bicycling, I get to see a lot of Greenville and Pitt County.
