Michael Letchworth is an entrepreneur, restaurateur, outdoorsman, and media personality from Ayden, North Carolina. He is best known as co-owner of Sam Jones BBQ and founder of Fox Hollow Outdoors, brands rooted in hospitality, outdoor culture, and eastern North Carolina traditions. Letchworth helped grow Sam Jones BBQ into a nationally recognized barbecue and hospitality brand while staying true to traditional whole-hog cooking methods. The company later expanded into retail products and was also featured in publications including The New York Times, Southern Living, Garden & Gun, Forbes, and GQ. In 2025, he was named the Greenville–Pitt County Chamber of Commerce Small Business Leader of the Year. Through Fox Hollow Outdoors, Letchworth shares stories centered around hunting, fishing, family, and life in eastern North Carolina. Built largely around adventures shared with his son, Larken, the brand grew into a television and digital media platform focused on storytelling, conservation-minded outdoor recreation, and intentional fatherhood.
