I am the Assistant City Manager for the City of Greenville, NC. In my role, I serve on the City’s management team and provide support for various functions, including overseeing Planning and Development Services, Neighborhood and Business Services, and Human Resources. I initially joined the City of Greenville, NC, as an Assistant City Attorney in October 2021. On behalf of the City Attorney’s Office, I provided strategic support and worked closely with City leadership and staff, while focused on multiple subjects, including economic development, procurement and contracting, and property transactions. Originally from Texas, I have resided in North Carolina since 2009, and in Pitt County since 2024. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Spanish from Texas Christian University before graduating cum laude from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2012. I have practiced law for over 13 years, and in addition to my role with the City, I am a NC-certified mediator and sit on the NC State Building Commission as a Governor appointee. I am intentional about meeting people where they are to create awareness, building bridges through collaboration, and identifying critical paths to make the most valuable impact. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, traveling, fishing, live theater, concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
