I’m a proud eastern North Carolina native and have called Greenville home since 1988. As the Director of Outreach and Public Relations for Pitt County Schools, I also serve as Executive Director of the Pitt County Educational Foundation and lead the district’s Communication Department. With 23 years of experience as a music educator, I’m a passionate advocate for students, teachers, and the value of public education. My commitment to service extends throughout the community as I serve on boards for the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce, the Greenville Community Shelter, and the Public School Forum of North Carolina. My family and I are longtime members of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. My husband, Chris, is the Director of the ECU School of Music, and together we are active supporters of the arts and culture scene in Pitt County.
